    Sporadic ability to Preview pages we are working on in PageBuilder

    Sometimes there will just be a blank screen when we attempt to preview, even though other pages in development can successfully be previewed. Eventually it resolves and hours later we are able to preview with no problem, but it is frustrating to not be able to consistently preview pages we are working on in PageBuilder. Additionally, sometimes one team member is able to access the page while others are not. We have tried to trial & error this and it is not, for example, due to the page in development being open in multiple places by multiple users. It feels this should have been a fairly straightforward process to make a few simple pages but we keep running up against surprises like this and having to back-burner while we wait out the sporadic ability to either access pages in development to work on or preview them. Is anyone else running up against these same frustrations?

    Just to make sure I understand correctly, you do not have multiple people in the admin trying to work on the same page? Are you working on a live site or a dev site?

      There are not multiple people attempting to work on the same thing at the same time (mentioned only to preclude that theory). We have a live site but these PageBuilder pages under development are visible only to our logged in team members.

        The reason I ask if it's a dev site versus a dev branch in a live site is that I have seen a bit of a slower load in dev sites versus a live site. Either way, you might want to open a support ticket and let Miva poke around to see if there might be something hanging.

            I recently ran in to this issue and discovered that I had an item assigned to the page that was not needed.

            In my case, I was working on the ACLN page and a 'quote_invalid_session' had prevented the preview. So I unassigned the quote item and the page was able to be viewed.

              ChristinaLockitt My suggestion would be to submit a ticket to [email protected] because that does not sound like normal behavior. They should be able to walk you through the process and see if you are missing a step anywhere.

                In another case, I needed to be logged in as a customer for the ACLN page to load data information.

                Even if I hardcoded (assigned) the g.customer:id and g.Basket:cust_id values I still needed to be logged in to see the data so it may be a session based issue.

                Otherwise, very happy.

                  Whilre previewng the CADE page I encounter the error:


                  Preview cannot be displayedUI Exception 'customer_invalid_address' has prevented the preview from displayed the requested page
                  I removed the address_validation readytheme and tried a different form action but cannot get a preview.

                  Any suggestions?
