Custom Field Not Available

I created a custom field to use on the PROD PageBuilder layout. When I went to select it, it was not in the list of Product Custom Fields to choose from. Is this because the Field Type is Drop-down? I'm trying to use this to replace a third party module that won't work with this layout.
