Can we have our own Checkout Button

We have the navigation bar tuned off in our store for aesthetic reasons.
However, without the nav bar the only way to checkout is via "tinyCart" button, which isn't the easiest thing to find.
We would like to put our own button, in the location of our choosing.
Problem is - in order to predefine it in our product template I need to know how to determine the dynamic session_id. Can some one help me out with the token syntax for that?

Hi John,

The checkout link is dynamic depending on the login status of the custmer and/or the basket contents status.

Do you use OpenUI in your store?
