    Need Help to Migrate from Miva4 to Miva5

    We're looking to hire someone skilled in Miva4 to Miva5 migrations

    We have a few special situations with our site, and we'd prefer to have a professional do it for us if it can be done fairly inexpensively.

      It is fairly easy to upgrade stores from 4 to 5 in case they don't have any special functionality custom coded. We migrated already about 20-30 stores ... stopped counting. If you do it on the cheap and don't change the layout then it takes about a day and costs $800. We usually recommend to take advantage of the new functionality and add the new features too. Looking into a a redesign is usually a good time too because we start from scratch.

        We usually recommend to take advantage of the new functionality and add the new features too.
        I'm not a designer, but I would recommend to anyone moving to Merchant 5 you seriously consider getting the emporiumplus toolKit module or the PCInet ToolBelt module.

        They both add A LOT of functionality to your Merchant 5 store. They are to Merchant 5 what OUI was to Merchant 4.

        Yes, right out of the box, Merchant 5 is iles ahead of Merchant 4. But including one of these very reasonably priced modules AT THE START is a GREAT idea.
