We have a MM4.x store and use price table based shipping. We have only one price table and only one shipping method which can be selected at checkout. On occasion, when processing batch orders, we have had a single order that displays shipping twice with two different shipping costs, for example:
Shipping: Regular Ground: $15.95
Sales Tax: $0.00
Shipping: Regular Ground: $7.95
Sales Tax: $0.00
Total: $
The issue shows up in both the printed batch and when clicking on the individual order in order processing. When this happens, the total is always wrong, and does not reflect an accurate total for either the products or the products with shipping with one or both shipping fees added. In fact, the total is less than the product total by itself without shipping.
We do not have any special shipping modules installed and we do not have any modules installed that affect the individual product prices.
Payment is by simple validation, so we are able to correct the error when we process orders, but the client is seeing the wrong order total at checkout, which is reflected in the order confirmation email. We process dozens of orders which are correct upon review and this only happens on occasion.
