First Class Mail and USPS changes with Miva Merchant 4

We had been running Viking Coders USPS Advanced module on Miva Merchant 4.24 which included options for First Class Mail as well as Priority, etc. With the latest USPS changes First Class disappeared as an option. Viking Coders' website had indicated that they would change the module for Miva Merchant 4 as late as Monday, but today that message was gone. I just talked to someone at Viking Coders who said that they would not be modifying the module. Does anyone have ideas for shipping that can handle products of a couple of ounces to several pounds?
