This may not get answered yet - the forum is still in testing mode.

Yes. You could by disabling the link above the cattree under Customer Accounts.

Simply hard code your sign-in link into the Category Tree Header with the image you want:

      %OUI%
      <a href ="%VAR(g.sessionurl)%Screen=LOGN"><img src="path/to/image"></a>

You could get fancier and test to see if the person is already logged in etc...use the OpenUI shortcut dropdowns above the Cat Tree Header text box to play with a few.

thanks! so it follows that i'd also be able to use tokens to do that for "Welcome Back, So and So." ??

          Yes, its possible.

Depending on the version of OpenUI, you may also have OpenLanguages installed, which will allow you to change the text string displayed for some of the prompts.

we have the latest OUI and do have OpenLanguages. i played around with it, and got it so that i could see the "Welcome Back, So and So," but the sign up link was showing up, too, even though i was signed in. how do i make that disappear once someone signs in?

thanks, leslie, for making this a sticky. i know you're still testing, but i just thought it was worth a shot :)

You will need to add a conditional around your sign-in link to check if logged in.

The OpenUI Shortcut drop downs can create this for you.
