product attributes in popup window

Hello

I am using v4.24 and wondering if there a way to modify product attributes from outside the product detail page. I would like to create my own page that describes the attributes as well as gathers them from the user. This would be entered after the product is selected for purchase. I am willing to purchase a module to do this, just haven't found one that matches my need. Any help would be much appreciated.

Couple of ideas (YMMV):

1) If I recall, if you try to put an item with attributes into the basket without choosing the attributes, it will ask for them on an empty page (at least in my store). Could you not allow the attribute choice and then format the landing page accordingly? Perhaps one of the gurus can build on this.
2) I'd check with Kent at Magic Metal. Perhaps he has a version of Upsale Magic or Checkout This that can do what you need.
