    Import/Export Supermod question

First off I wanted to say hello, and I like the new forum!
The email list drove me nuts so this is refreshing to say the least. Anyways... You will all (those module developers here) be happy to know I have contributed to most of your pension plans via module purchases.

On to my first noob question: I've had CBS I/E supermod for some time, and like many of their mods I own. But, I can't make heads or tails out of the instructions, and have been scared to death to use it. My merchant store has over 220K in products, and importing and exporting data has become a real PITA. I need to remove about 30K worth of those products due to discontinued, backordered etc.

I want to use supermod to do this, however I am confused about the store key portion of the instructions. If I export the products.dbf (which I have already done with this module) remove the offending products from the flat file and import it back into I/E supermod does this mean I have to pull out that many from the products keys.dbf and storekey.dbf?

In the instructions it indicates adding products and adding to the key, but nothing to the reverse.

    Any help would be appreciated...

P.S. I am currently on openXB.

No. Just pack the store afterwards. The other databases and indexes will update appropriately.

      Thanks for the reply!

Next dumb question, being as I am openxb and mysql if I alter the products.dbf (remove items from it) will openxb automaticly remove them from the msyql database as well?

What I'm getting at is will I have to delete the store's entire product database and re-upload the products.dbf to make these go away?
