I've had to get used to FireFox being stupid like that when working on customers' stores and going to the payment gateway areas, if a password box is blank, it wants to put something in there and I have to clear it before I can hit submit.

Note to Miva, maybe you should add the same autocomplete="off" tag to the customer password fields in the store admin that was added to the login screen since there's no reason to have auto complete on that page anyway.

I've been using Chrome... I will have to look for an option to turn off autocomplete.

When placing a customer order through Miva Admin, the system allows adding items that have an inventory level of 0 or less than the amount entered. The system should not allow you to add items that have insufficient or zero inventory - or at least give a confirmation screen informing the user of the inventory level, and confirm if they wish to perform an override.

Since updating to Wombat I've updated my Modules that needed updates, but just seems that things run MUCH SLOWER. My Power Search times out, downloads for Storeman 5 are ridculously slow. I've researched it, my ISP researched it, the support teams have researched it. The only conclusion I have is Wombat. Thats when slowing of issues started. I have a very large store over 178,000 products, from over 250 manufacturers, and I dont even want to know how many categories. Could it just be my store is to big for Wombat to handle properly? Is MySQL handled differnt now? I'm not suggesting this is a bug or error but it seemed the right place to post this.

No Wombat would not be behind this in any way, however you should triple check every possible module upgrade, it's likely hiding in there somewhere.

Specifically the Sebenza Cat/Prod Template mods can really wreck havoc on speed if they're out of date.

Is it possible for any certain module (that might not be updated) to cause issues with the whole miva database? Including slower speeds?

can you be more specific on what you mean? I do have some Cat/Prod templates I use or well code using the Emporium Plus took Kit.

I've just had way to many problems since the Wombat upgrade, and yes I admit some are my fault. But I really think Miva should work with Bruce who created Storeman and implement those features together. It would save a billion headaches.

Just to be clear. No one else we know of that uses StoreMan on PR7 is seeing any additional slow down when using StoreMan...so, its a not a StoreMan/PR7 issue.

And yes, PR7 has taught Miva a lot about third party dependencies and Merchant Updates...but also realize that PR7 had an enormous amount of changes (aka, it could have been called Merchant 6!).

Bruce I think you missed my point.. I wasnt blaming my speed issues on you or storeman, when I put suggestion out there it was because the software you have come up with fills a big whole that Miva still lacks for store management. Instead of a 3rd party module, a direct interface using what you've created built directly in Miva would be a great future feature.

People who have never looked at Storeman may not know what I was talking about. So it's easier to mention it then just put down the options that Storeman handles.

Export Customers to Flat File version 5.6000

If you check "Export Field Names as Header" and choose to include either/both of the Address 2 fields, those field names are not included in the header row. So the headers and data don't match up (except for the columns prior to the ship_to address2 row).

This is a known bug and it looks like it's been resolved and is scheduled to go out with PR8.

ORDS (order status page). Order layout tab. The variable &mvt:item:name; actually displays the code rather than the name.

I can't create this in MMUI or CSSUI, and looking at the code for the related components, nothing obvious stuck out. Can you show me an example?

Are you running PR7 Update 9 or an earlier version?

We tracked it down, it's a bug in the 4.x to 5.x upgrade tool.
