    Thanks anyhow

In thinking about your situation, I have come to think that your contribution to this thread perfectly illustrates what the real problem is here.

You are being two two different stories and you desperately want to believe the peole you are in business with and not two guys on the net. A very reasonble dilemma for you and I think typical of what a lot of merchants will experience going forward. Trust of course is a huge part of any business relationship.

It is not easy to be forced to admit that "your people" are dropping the ball, giving you bad council or just stonewalling. It is a real let down and is why this thread was started in the first place.....

            Max,

Your host needs to upgrade you to 5.07, you need to upgrade your store to PR7 and then follow the Product Implementation Guide I posted in that other thread.

It's also worth noting that it's my fault David and the rest of the partners weren't given any notice on my posting of that thread last night, which is why David didn't know the latest info. It's something that can easily slip in a time sensitive situation like this, especially as we strive for maximum communication with out clients directly.
            Thanks,

Roger that- Thanks for the clarification. Hopefully we can get this done ASAP.

Wow accountability, can't ask for more than that! That is two wet kisses for you :)

It is a relief to see you guys backing us up by making this deadline and now communicating in a precise, clear and succinct manner. I have been with Miva for 8 years now and you have reaffirmed that I have made the right choice.

              Thanks again!!

Ok I am upgraded to 5.07. How do I upgrade to PR7?

BTW your Implementation guide looks awesome! I think reading that will clear up a lot of confusion.

In the lower left side of your admin it should have a graphic that says Updates Available. keep clicking that and installing until everything is updated and make sure all your third party mods are up to date too.

Well it might have bitten me......... I could not update because StoneEdge Order manager module and a couple of Sebenza modules need updating first. Since this is brand new I am doubting those upgrades are available.

Thanks again for your skillful help today Rick. Quite a refreshing change from what I have been experiencing so far on this PCI situation.....

I know for a fact both Sebenza and StoneEdge have updates ready, you should contact them. PR7 has been out for about 7 weeks and was in beta for six months before that so the devs had a long runway.
                      Thanks,

Go under Global Settings, Domain Settings and PA-DSS Checklist and work through your red lights until they're all green.
