UPS Shipping Labels

Is there any way to get the word "sample" off of the barcode when you ship the UPS shipping labels? Or will it ship ok with it on there? Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

Has anyone else noticed the word "SAMPLE" written over the barcode when printing a UPS label from Miva 5.5, manage shipments?

Yes, I just tried to print it and I got the word sample, too...

Also, before that I was getting an error saying that I had an invalid company name. Didn't know that was required.

did you use the labels with the word sample on them? did they work?

Apparently, the company require error is a bug that is working on being fixed. Miva is due to roll that out sometime soon. I just override it by placing the customer's name in the company name box and it clears it up.

No, I haven't tried mailing my UPS package with the "sample" word on it. I asked my UPS guy and he said he had never seen a package with the word written over it. I'm surprised there isn't more people that have experienced this. I just went back to logging into my UPS account online and creating the labels manually. I would love to know the fix for this.

I have put in the question to Chuck with Merchant Tutorials since I am a member for his tutorial videos, so if I hear something, I will post right away.

If you've installed all the updates, the Company bug is fixed in UPS, but not the Sample issue which depends on your account type.

Do we need a specific account type to get it to work without the sample being printed?

I've heard that some UPS accounts have been approved to remove the sample from the label but i don't know how to replicate that. We're working through ups process to get this resolved for everyone.

I'm currently up to date on all my updates, but I'm still getting the Company bug... any ideas?
