Field that looks like a spam link? it doesn't go to a miva merchant shop. it looks like a search engine aggregator.

I "think" they were trying to create a sample URL, using url.com instead of my personal favorite domain.com - which of course is a domain registrar site.

No not spamm please dont think that I just did not want to post URL.

Was just making a statement that the part of the script is causing the error on Safari and IE8

Don't know if you got this solved but I found i was getting a similar error message on ie 8, turned out i had it running on compatiblity view mode for some reason, changed that and the error is gone and it works fine

                Re: Power Search Auto Complete

This appears to be an old thread, but I'm wondering since it looks like Bill has made an update to the docs which he said

I created a new page called XXXXX and the only thing on that page is the above code. Then the javascript application calls and runs that code as the customer types into the search input. The variable the javascript application needs to pass is autoletter.
The instructions make no mention of what "javascript program" - I don't want to assume that it's been included as part of the latest Power Search module but the instructions are still pretty vague.

Thanks - that got something doing something but no where close yet. Maybe it's a CSS issue. The drop down menu starts off 1 character wide, then turns itself into a select type menu as I keep typing, but no suggestions in it.

Soooo, it looks like I'm not getting values loaded in to the option value. I'm getting a <select onclick="Picked(this.value)" size="1"> and no <option value="" selected="selected"></option>

                        Re: Power Search Auto Complete

I've opened a support ticket to try and help figure out why this isn't "firing". I've eliminated all other javascript from that page that could conflict and it's still not returning any sort of value.

Did you assign powrsrch and toolkit items to the items list of both of those?
