    Re: Miva Secure Admin Login

I've checked my internet connection over and over its still 20 down 5 up.. My upload speeds from Storeman5 to my host are great. Its the download speed that is taking a hit. Bruce from Phosphor even checked and says there connection to my Host is extremely slow. The server it's hosted on is top of the line, and before I had issues it only took me 3 days to download (yes for the size of my store that is fast.) I do have my host working on the issue and they are researching it. Mean while I have things I have to do to help my own situation like getting my own SSL certificate in stead of sharing my Host's. But that shouldnt slow it down like that. As of right now my initial problem is fixed. I can now connect and upload changes. But I like to redownload my database once a month if possible.

To some degree yes, especially latency issues. But we are getting the same speed issues when we connect to his site, and we are running on a high-speed, very low latency connection through FIOS.

Bump... I was thinking this thing "storeman" was incredibly slow. 54 minutes to download 2200 products, or if your counting records 11,600

          Re: Miva Secure Admin Login

Ok made all mandatory changes, have our own security license. Have done multiple speed tests.

I can download/upload quickly and easily through FTP or direct uploads through Miva. But when I try to download through Storeman it's still increadibly slow.

My last diagnosis has to be on server, that for some reason it's causing a bottle neck from Miva to the Storeman5 client on my computer. We haven't made any server changes for incoming data, but I'm wondering if there is any possibility something could be limiting Storeman5. We use Symantec on an exchange server. Does anyone have a clue on what I might check, to see if the connection could be being slowed or limited for some reason?
