    Norton saying my site unsafe?

I have been having some checkout issues. Timeouts are still happening but some orders still coming. Now a customer emailed me the below:

I go to "Basket" then hit the "Checkout now" button. My security says: "There is a problem with this websites security certificate and recommends that I close the webpage." It may just be a conflict with
    my Norton security and yours.

I had already asked my host awhile back and they said that my SSL was installed correctly. Anyone can give me a clue to how to fix this?

Also get the following error when updating my shipworks.

The underlying connection was closed : Could not establish secure channel for SSL/TLS.

When I get the error shipworks does download the info. But when I go to download again it will act like I have not downloaded recently and redownload the info.

It's hard to say without a link to your site.

Can you fetch some of the pages that are throwing an error with fetch as googlebot and see that everything is ok? (I probably will look fine in googlebot, but it is always a good idea to check anyway.)

Anyway, best if you could post a link. If you don't want to, then PM me and I will take a look at it later, but today is going to be a CRAZY day (starter on my Jeep died last night, had to tow it to the garage on the coldest night we have had here in 70 years. Plus I have a BIG shipment of merchandise arriving today.)

The subject of your post mentioned norton but the error in the post is not related to Norton, that can come from any browser. If you're getting an error from Norton, it bases its site safety decisions on information you can check at http://safeweb.norton.com/

Re: Norton saying my site unsafe?

Ok Norton says my site is safe. It is likely the customer has the date wrong on her computer as David suggested.

Am getting this error when trying to download my miva info into shipworks. There is no webpage that is giving me the below error. I am getting a time out error on the page before you enter the card number.

The underlying connection was closed Could not establish secure channel for SSl/TLS

This is what I found online about the error.

          Error message 5

This problem may occur when one or more of the following conditions are true:
          • You are using an invalid client certificate or an invalid server certificate.
          • You are experiencing a TCP connection problem.
          • The client computer is sending lots of data.
          • A time-out setting on the server or on another network device is set too low.
          • You are experiencing an HTTPS protocol compatibility problem.

For TCP connection problems, see resolutions A, D, E, F, and O. For client certificate problems and server certificate problems, see resolutions H and I. For HTTPS protocol compatibility problems, see resolution J.

Can anyone help me or direct me to someone I can pay to help me?

...or direct me to someone I can pay to help me?
With all due respect, what is your hosting company doing to help you with this?

If they are dong nothing, then the best money you could spend is getting a good host who can resolve these problems for you ASAP.

I truly hope this helps. I hate to see any fellow merchant suffer during what SHOULD be the best time of the year for them.

Re: Norton saying my site unsafe?

I have a great host and maybe asking for too much help. I was thinking maybe I made an error when I built the site. As I don't know much how servers/website interact.

At my wits end with this. Have so much going on in my life and this is adding to stress. Was hoping the time out error my customers are reporting and the error with shipworks download are connected. I post in hopes someone had or has same thing and can give me a lead to fix it.

Re: Norton saying my site unsafe?

I've seen shipworks give that error if left open for a while with no activity; it's as if it expects the connection to the site to still be active when it has already been closed by the server. I've also seen it occur in stores that keep a lot of old orders and batches.

Maybe you could provide a link to your site and we can help take a look at it.
