    Bing shopping feed for Miva

What are Miva users doing about creating a Bing shopping data feed? Any particular modules or other methods?

I haven't done this for Bing yet, but I use the www.emporiumplus.com Template Data Feed module for pretty much ALL of my data feeds.

I also use it for quite a few other things besides just data feeds, so for me, it is a pretty useful module.

I used WCW Template Data Feed module as well for Google products and Google sitemap. Does anyone know how to monitor performance like click-through and such? I have about 1800ish products and I get about 50 clicks a day for Google products. I am curious what others are getting? I read somewhere wher the average is around 3% to 5%. 50 out of 1800 is far less than 1% for me at least.

I notice other miva users are using other feed services. Curious if that is worthy to look into.

There are instructions out on the web (might even be a Miva Blog post) about how to set up a filter in google analytics to differentiate between the organic search clicks and the google merchant (formerly froogle) clicks.

I use Template Data Feed too, on other sites I manage, but it doesn't have an option to create a Bing Shopping feed. Perhaps because the Bing feed has required field(s) that are not present in a default Miva product database?

TDF is a template module. You simply create a new template and add the columns you need. For fields not in the basic merchant, you use custom product fields. TDF exports custom product fields just fine.

We set up our webmaster account with Bing and submitted our site map and feed there. Here is the link to the BING Webmaster Tools page: http://www.bing.com/toolbox/webmasters/?FORM=L8SP71

and the link to BING Webmaster community http://www.bing.com/community/webmaster/f/default.aspx

              Hope this is helpful.
