There's two things I'm trying to accomplish:
1 – Offering two products together as a bundle (similar to Amazon's 'frequently bought together' feature).
2 – Giving a small discount to customers who decide to jump on the bundle.
I have #1 done, using a custom field (to store the bundled item's product code), Sebenza's Product Template Manager (quickadd), and EP Tool Kit (vproductfind on the custom field, and some math functions).
However, #2 I'm somewhat at a loss on. Since I have EP's Coupon Redemption module, I tried to create a hidden field with an Instant Coupon code to see if I could discreetly add a coupon discount while the products are being added, but instead of going to the basket, it goes to the bundled item's product page instead (for the record, the discount IS applied, it's just confusing since it doesn't go to BASK). I'm assuming the QUICKADD action and the Instant Coupon just aren't compatible, at least when adding more than one item to cart.
Has anyone ever put something like this together? It doesn't necessarily have to involve the modules I mentioned above (though, that would be a plus!).
Thanks.
