Re: Production Release 8 Beta Issues/Bugs

    Dear All,

This was already reported to Rick and the gang. Not realy a bug, but something to be aware of:

I upgraded to IE 9 this morning.

Reports all seem to be working now. Spacing is a little different on IE 9 than Chrome, but all the data seems to be there.

I also downloaded FireFox and tried it. It seems to work here too.

    To Recap:

    Works: 64 Bit Vista / IE 9 / Chrome / FireFox

Does Not Work: 64 Bit Vista / IE 8 (the driver needed to make this work is not supported on 64 bit systems). So you will need to make IE 9 on 64 Bit Vista a requirement for Reports to work. If you use 64 bit Vista and IE 8 it prompts you to download the json.mvc file. There are a lot of 64 Bit Vista systems out there, especially HP computers as they were pushing 64 Bit Vista pretty aggressively for awhile.
    Thank You,

        Mark,

How are you attempting to do that? Also what browser and OS?

I am using firefox 4 but I also tried with IE and Opera.

I'm 99.9% sure I screwed this up some how but I am not sure how.

Are there files that control this inside the graphics or css folder? I may have overwritten that folder without thinking about it as a possibilty.

Just so you are aware I think they already have this as a bug. It has something to do with not passing store ID and is getting fixed in an update.

                Mark,

Are you trying Drag and Drop? Or the Browse and File Upload method?
                Thanks,

Re: Production Release 8 Beta Issues/Bugs

I have tried it both ways and both end up with the same error.

I am also coming up with several problems importing products.

(IE8) no scroll bar at the bottom so I can not scroll over to the start changing drop dorwn fields.

(opera) drop downs are broken for changing the fields after description. So in other words after the 8th field(description) The actual dropdown boxes is do not work.

Not an issue, just a question - is it possible to have the beta stream be applied to only one store in a "mall" setting? Or is it all or nothing?

                        Thanks!

It seems that the admin occasionally kicks me out after hitting the update button. The problem is it seems kind of random. Firefox 3.6.15

This is not a session timeout because I literally made changes moments before doing it again.

Was this happening before you tried to update to PR8 or just with this beta update? I have updated thousands of stores and have never had this happen to me.
