FedEx Ground method disappeared...Help!

I've been successfully using the FedEx Advanced module from Viking Coders for almost a year, but just yesterday, the FedEx Ground method has disappeared. I've checked all setup options and they have not been changed. I unchecked the Ground option and then added it again but no success. Could FedEx have changed the name of the method and the module no longer recognizes it? I'm using version 5.030 of FedEx advanced .

Is this Tom? If so I saw your note in our helpdesk yesterday and will have one of our developers take a look. If not, this is a second report of the same item, which would really lean me towards calling it a bug. :)

Just got off phone with FedEx support. I ended up enabling the Ground Home Delivery option , (not necessary before this week), and I now have a FedEx Ground method for residential addresses. FedEx claims no changes in the past few days, but I don't know why it worked since last year until this week without that option checked in the FedEx Advanced setup screens.

We're having this same problem. Could you please clarify what you did to get FedEx Home Delivery to show at checkout with FedEx Advanced? We have Ground Home Delivery checked in Available Shipping Methods but it does not show at checkout.

Hi Matt,

My understanding is that our lead developer took a look at your system and home delivery was appearing. Perhaps there are specific order/destination options that are preventing this.

We didn't hear back from Sport above as to who he talked to and what he had them do that enabled this service at FedEx, but I'd be really interested in hearing that so we could put up a FAQ.

FedEx was instrumental in telling me what they saw in the transaction request and ouput and keyed me to the fact that I needed to check BOTH FedEx Ground and FedEx Ground Home Delivery. FedEx Ground is used for business addresses, (ship_company not blank), and FedEx Ground Home Delivery would be used for residential addresses, (ship_company blank).
I just made sure that both were checked and that I "cloned" the other FedEx Ground setup values for FedEx Ground Home Delivery. These other values being discounts, free-shipping, etc.
Once I did this, my problem was solved. Be careful if you have any custom SMT code that may be keying on the specific method name since the method names will be different.

Thank you oldsportbiker! "Always Use Residential Rates" must be checked for Ground Home Delivery to show and then if "Use commercial if "company" field filled" will replace it with Ground. Both methods will not show at the same time like the default FedEx module.
