UPC codes for each Product Attribute

I may be missing something simple here, or it may just not be an option.
Let's say we have a product with 4 colors set up as attributes. Each color has a different UPC code, Manufacturer Part Number, etc. How do I distinguish the different UPC codes, for each attribute etc in Miva?
I am using the custom product fields and have all of the fields set up, but I only have the main field to populate. Is there a way to set this up for each attribute? It doesn't even have to show online, primarily for data feeds and perhaps for search in the future. Thank you for any help or ideas.

You would need to create Variants using our Inventory Variant system, and then use the Product Code or SKU field for each Variant.

Thanks, I will have to look into that. We've just always used attributes.

I started using the variant system not long ago, having skipped over that when I first started using PR7 in favor of more critical components (for us and for our customers). I have to say, I wish I had taken a look sooner. It's pretty awesome.
