Same here...Maybe it is a linux file permission setting? I'll wait for my host to check it

What is the exact error you are seeing. The fix can be a couple of different things depending on the exact error.

The error message is

Pre-install validation failed. No modifications have been made to the existing installation. The following issue must be resolved before installation can continue:

Unable to validate functionality of the GD builtin function library:
Forbidden

You don't have permission to access /mm5/5.00/features/upg/patch_control.mvc on this server.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.
