PayPal Standard Issue

[MC2Design]

Set up paypal standard for client, set up IPN and Web redirect within Paypal as required.

• Instant Payment Notification (IPN): On
• Instant Payment Notification (IPN) URL: http://www.tarmadesigns.com/
• Website Payment Preferences Auto Return: On
• Website Payment Preferences Return URL: http://www.tarmadesigns.com/

PayPal payment option shows up in payment pulldowns.

Issue is that checkout jumps straight to invoice with no interaction with PayPal, so on funds collected. It never redirects to Paypal for acct info.

Please advise?

Just tried a test to see if i can see anything yet in the process got a fatal error....

Miva Merchant has encountered a fatal error and is unable to continue. The following information may assist you in determining the cause of the error:

	Error Code:	MER-SUI-MMU-00002
	Description:	Shipping Selection is required and no shipping methods were found. Please contact the administrator directly.
	Other Information:

Note I entered a redundant address as "111 test", yet still that shouldn't have produced a fatal.

Sounds like you haven't enabled any shipping methods, or have used a Live rate calculator and don't have weight assigned.

1) click "Shipping Settings" on the left side of your Miva Merchant Admin
2) check off a module to use and click update. Please note that FedEx, UPS, and USPS are Live calculators and will require your products to have a weight
3) click the tab at the top for the module you've assigned
4) configure the module with your information and check off the methods you will be using
5) click update.

If you used a faked zip code and use USPS, UPS or FedEx you'll get that error as well. The service can't calculate a rate on a fake zip code.
