UPS Ready® Tools error: Missing or invalid shipper name

Every time the store owner tries to generate a label they get the following error:

Failure: 120101: Missing or invalid shipper name

What isn't right?

Probably a missing Company name in the From Address.

In the module settings? If so, it's there.

Or in the label? Looks like the label may have some "extra" stuff:

Company Name
email address
Phone number
Fax Number
Address
City, State Zip
US

OR is it the Company field when you click the From link in the Generate Shipping Label popup window? If it's that one, where does that get configured by default?

Well start by editing that field on a single case basis and making sure that solves your problem. Then we can track down where the default is (I don't know offhand).

i got this error when I was missing the company name in the store settings, “owner” tab.

From admin,
1, click on the store name,
2, click on the “owner” tab
3, In the field labeled “company” add the name of the store
4, Click update
