Re: MailChimp Module Support and Troubleshooting
While it is possible, since it needs the email address to be filled in before it can be submitted, some of the JavaScript would need to be re-written. It is not something I tell you the code changes to make. It will require that function to be completely rethought.

Re: MailChimp Module Support and Troubleshooting
I have installed and provisioned MailChimp successfully on our site. I would like to change the default behavior of the Mailchimp Check Box so that it is "Checked" or "Opted In" as the default, so that customers need to "Opt Out" by deselecting the checkbox. I see where the java script is editable within the advanced options screen of the Mailchimp utility but I'm not sure about where I would make that change.

Re: MailChimp Module Support and Troubleshooting
Love MailChimp...so much easier to use than Constant Contact IMHO! Any suggestions for WordPress Plugins to use MailChimp on a WP Blog?

Re: MailChimp Module Support and Troubleshooting
Really? All I do is type an email address in the box and click the submit button, then the whole box goes away. Hmmm...

Re: MailChimp Module Support and Troubleshooting
I am having a problem with Mailchimp and Internet Explorer 9. Other browsers (Firefox, Chrome, Safari) work fine. When I try to subscribe using the textbox the whole box just disappears. Here is a link, to see what I mean: http://www.americancoffeeservices.com/ . Anyone else having this problem?

Re: MailChimp Module Support and Troubleshooting
Interesting it still doesn't work for me. It's just the form in the footer when signing up it does not give the you've been subscribed message however you do get the message if you unsubscribe.Originally posted by Brennan View PostDo you have an example of what is not working? Re: MailChimp Module Support and Troubleshooting
Mailchimp is great, but we were frustrated by the disappearing api key from the previous release and about to disable the module.
Yea! Happy to see there is now a new version with the bug fix.
Crossing my fingers...

Re: MailChimp Module Support and Troubleshooting
Hey All -
We were able to release a new version of the mailchimp module today (5.5003) . It can be downloaded here:
http://www.mivamerchant.com/mailchimp
There were two bug fixes
1. Disappearing api key from the admin
2. Lists with apostrophes would cause the lists in the admin not to show up
If you see any other issues please post them here.
ThanksLast edited by Brennan; 03-13-12, 04:35 PM.
