Pull Out Specific Quantity Price in EP's Volume Discount

I sell products that have a 1 price, 2-10 price, 11-25 price and a 26+. I know I can show the lowest price on the category page, but that is a tad misleading as most people will not buy 26+, however I would like to be able to post the 2-10 pricing since there is a large break between 1 and 2 mats.

1 mat might cost you $169 whereas 2 mats will cost you $188. That is a difference I would like to highlight so I can up-sell to 2 mats easier.

I could then put text on the product page that says "Buy 2 mats for only $19 more!"

Can that be done?

You could use the table code on the category page. Then in the code you would only show the second entry.

On the product page change
<mvt:if expr="pos2 EQ 2">
to
<mvt:if expr="pos1 EQ 2">

On the ctgy, srch, etc you have a foreach loop inside another foreach loop so you use pos2. But on the product page there is just one product so there is not the bigger foreach loop. There is just the foreach for the vol price table, so you use pos1

Worked great. I would now like to subtract <mvt:if expr="pos1 EQ 2"> from <mvt:if expr="pos1 EQ 1">. I am trying to assign variables to the different positions then use math_subtract, but I it doesn't appear to be working very well (or at all). I'm trying to get to the point where I can say "Buy 2 for only $26 more!"

Yes I have it already and tried to use it but am having trouble pulling the variables out.

Would you use the vassign or sassign function to turn the values into variables? Then use math_subtract to find the difference in the variables. Just not sure how to put the different functions together.

You already have the variables if you are displaying them, e.g. l.all_settings:volume:price You could use vassign to save them to variables like first and second. Use math_subtract to get the difference and currencyformat to make it look like $.

Here is the code I used, I know its not right but I can't figure out how to make it work. It is only returning 0.
(BTW I know I am SUMMING the numbers. Figured I would get this working and the subtraction would be simple change.)

You did not save a value to qnty2. You put qnty1 in both lines.

I sure did. I changed it and still only get $0.00. This time I added the formatting, which works, but I can't get it to add the values.

You took out the "all_" in your local variables names.
