Videos or examples of Attribute Machine

I am trying to set up an "attribute tree". i.e. several attributes (drop downs) that depend on one another. I believe this can be done with the attribute machine but I am unable to find a good video or step by step on how to set it up.

Maybe I am missing something but the videos that are out there do not show me how to set up dependent attributes. If I go to Pages > Prod > Attribute Machine

There are options I can choose and "Elements" I can fill in and nowhere can I find where it tells me how to fill all of this in to get attributes to depend on each other.
