Order numbers in Paypal Manager

Since upgrading to PR8 and the PayPal Payments Advanced and/or Payflow Gateway, my customer has noticed order numbers no longer appear in the Comments 2 field in the Paypal Manager.
Does anyone know how to get order numbers to show again?

It's now sent as the Invoice number.

The old one sent it as both Invoice and Comment 2, but since it was redundant we did away with that.

Is there a reason you'd want it in Comment 2?

The main reason we use Comment 2 is that it is a searchable field in the Paypal Manager site. Invoice number, as far as we can tell, it not. That makes finding orders just a little more complicated. Not horrible but it was a piece of data we relied on heavily.

Comment 1 or 2. Either one. So you can quickly see it when you're looking at the Daily Activity Transaction Report, among other areas.
Sounds like this might come back?
