I am currently using the WCW Volume Pricing module to offer quantity discounts on products. Many of the products are very similar but for several reasons I have chosen to create them as unique products rather than a single product with many variants. Is there any way to select a group of unique products that would all be counted together towards earning the volume pricing price for each product? Sort of a "groups" feature within the Volume Pricing module.
Ex:
Widget type A, Widget type B, and Widget type C are all separate products. They have different prices and different volume prices, but the volume pricing scheme is the same (Retail price, 2-5 pieces 10% off, 6-10 20% off). Is there a way a customer could order any combination of the 3 products and when they reach the volume pricing tiers they receive the discounted price.
It would be great if it could happen withing the module admin, but otherwise would it be possible by using custom category or product fields?
