Java Script Files. Should there be a .js folder on my server?

I'm using Miva 5.5. I'm using a Miva store skin. Should there be a .js folder for Javascript on the server? I can not find any such folder.

    Thanks,
    Gary

Re: Java Script Files. Should there be a .js folder on my server?

No one can answer this!? I'm trying to code for a flyout cat tree. I watched Miva training vids and ready to insert html into cattree in Miva admin and have no problems going into my CSS file and putting the CSS coding there. But then in the Miva vid Zeph says to go into my .js folder which should be included in Frameworks.....but there is nothing there. I've searched every folder on my server. Nada. Do I need to create one? If so, exactly where do I put it? In the Merchant2 folder or with the main folders in /https: ?
Please help so I can get this moving. Thanks. :)

By default, I don't believe there's one as we don't use an JS in our skins.

Rick is correct, there is not a default JavaScript folder with Miva Merchant. So the answer is really, "anywhere you like".

We typically create a new folder called js inside the mm5 folder. You can then upload all your js files to it, and reference them like this:

        <script type="text/jsvascript" src="js/myscript.js"></script>
