Multiple Products that use a Single Image... How to? (PR8)

I'm using Image Machine to manage my main image, alternate images, thumbnails, etc. Everything is fine there. But for the life of me, I can't figure out how to assign the images used for one product to another product (some products use the exact same images). It seems silly to reupload the same picture(s) and waste that disc space when it's just a reference into the database.

An example would be an automotive store who uses the same disc brake picture for all disc brake products for all makes and models of cars.

Any ideas would be great. Happy Holidays!

If you are working on a product by product process of adding products then on the additional images tab you can click the add image button and enter the path to the image. I don't think uploading this will actually copy another one though as long as its the same file.

The other way is by assigning image types. upload images to one of the products then export making sure to select the image types / copy the image paths to the other products and import the file back.
