I just updated to PR8 update 8 and was going over the PA-DSS checklist. I have 3 Fails: 1) Miva Empresa needs to be updated so I put in a request with Support, 2) There is an obsolete key in the Primary Database Password, and 3) Apparently, none of my user passwords are strongly encrypted even though I've left the password settings at the default settings. My question is, if Empresa gets updated, will that solve 2 & 3? If not, how do I change the primary database password? Thanks for your help!

Re: Primary Database Password Question
Updating Empresa will do nothing for 2 and 3. Once Empresa is updated you'll need to step through the private key migration wizard but choose to not move it. Just follow the prompts until the 'finish' button without actually moving it. That will update the encryption key. For #3 you'll notice the list of users that need to update their password. Changing the password for each user listed should get that one to pass.Originally posted by teamjunk View PostI just updated to PR8 update 8 and was going over the PA-DSS checklist. Re: Primary Database Password Question
I have the following fails on 5.5 update 12 and have no idea how to change to pass:
1) Fail Primary Database not Located on Web Server (and this is in column to right of this fail) localhost
2) Fail Private Keys Stored in Secondary Database
3) Fail Private Key Database on Different Server Than Primary Database
4) Fail Private Key Database Password Encrypted (and this is in column to right of this fail) Password is stored in plain text
5) Fail Current Order Encryption Key Less Than 1 Year Old For all Stores (this is column to right) Miss Kate's Creations
I don't know what the above means let alone how to fix it. I've switched over to the Intuit Merchant Services and for some reason they haven't put the new merchant number in ControlScan yet. I want to get the 5 fails fixed before they force me to fix the problems.
Thanks!

Re: Primary Database Password Question
I figured out how to fix all of the above EXCEPT #1 & #3. What do I need to do to fix these?

Re: Primary Database Password Question
For #1 you'll need to contact your host (if we're your host, just contact support) and by moving #1 that will fix #3.
