USPS First-Class Mail International Class & Viking Coders USPS Advanced v6 Module

On 1/27/2013, USPS implemented changes to their international shipping, particularly with changes to First Class Mail International. Here is a short description of the changes to First Class Mail International from Endicia:

The First-Class Mail International® class is being split into two classes based on package type. Cards, letters, and flats will continue to use the First-Class Mail International mail class, while all other mailpiece shapes, such as parcels, will use the new First-Class Package International Service (FCPIS) mail class. Rules and regulations will otherwise remain unchanged.

Since this change was implemented on 1/27/2013, "First-Class Mail^® International Parcel**" no longer displays on our website during checkout as an available dropdown option for shipping. I don't see any reference to "First-Class Package Internation Service" either. We currently use Viking Coders USPS Advanced version 6.000.

Has anyone else run into this issue, or had any luck with fixes?

Apparently they are now requiring a $15 a month plan (instead of $5) to provide the upgrade.

I contacted eMediaSales (Viking Coders) and got my subscription updated. Upgrading from 6.000 to 6.002 seems to have solved the issue. Part of the confusion is that 6.002 does not show in the eMediaSales download portal, only 6.001, so it was not clear that an upgrade was developed/distributed for this issue.

The same solution worked for us. I couldn't find 6.002 in their portal, either. Perhaps they've added it by now.

The same solution worked for us. I couldn't find 6.002 in their portal, either. Perhaps they've added it by now.

You are correct v6.002 is still not displaying in the eMediaSales portal.
