Has anyone switched from a paid monthly granular search service to Bill's Power Search module? Can you tell me what the experience was like? Were you able to replicate the granular search results with Power Search? Anything you can tell me would be great.

What I will say about Power Search is that it really is indeed very powerful. Personally I'm a little lost trying to implement certain features, but the potential of doing just about anything search-related is certainly there.
I think the question is paying for convenience with Search Spring or spending the time to fully implement Power Search to your exact specification...Comment

Yes, good points. Without getting in there and actually spending some hours to set up Power Search, I really cannot visualize if it will do all that Search Spring currently does, or at least enough of what it currently does.Comment
