PR8 update 9 - confirmation emails don't get send anymore

Anybody had this issue. I updated a client to the latest version (PR8 update 9) and the store stopped sending order notification emails. No changes in the new Mail Setting tab did any good.

Miva Merchant 5.5
Production Release 8 Update 9
Miva Merchant Engine v5.17
Database API: mysql

sounds similar to this so perhaps it's because the engine needs upgrading

Thanks Mark, I already told the client to get Miva VM upgraded. Emails were actually sent but my test account is with Google and Google blocked this email completely. It even didn't show up in SPAM.
The client sent me a order notification and the header was doubled. Exactly like in the thread.

Just upgraded yesterday and having the same problem. I am using Google Apps for the destination email, but the emails do not show up at all, not as spam and even in the logs the do not exist, so I assume the are not sending out at all. Looks like I'm on 5.12 .

upgrade to 5.19 resolved all issues. Miva did it like in 5 minutes. Miva rocks!

BTW I tried to send to a non-Google account and got the notification email before the upgrade.

Yep, Miva upgraded my store to 5.19 and all is well now :)
