What does "Delete PayPal Tokens" do exactly?

We are having some issues with a few customer being unable to checkout using paypal. We really haven't had this as an issue before. I was thinking it was some timeout issues on paypal's api going on. Anyway I was pokeing about in my store admin and in the utilties saw "Delete PayPal Tokens" with two choices for deleted expired or delete all.

I found a reference †o it in the bug fix list on pr8, but didn't find anything in the forums related to it.

So I"m wondering what it does and if maybe deleting the tokens might help with our issue.

Thanks that reference guide answered my question.

For anyone not reading the reference guide.. it cleans up the database table that holds the paypal express checkout tokens. Deleting the expired ones is safe. But deleting ALL is something to be careful of unless your store is in maintance mode and you know that no one is in the middle of checking out. So if you do a lot of paypal express, then you might want to use this once in a while for store maintance purposes in order to keep your database running like a clean lean machine!

It probably won't help with our customer's time out issue... but it will help our database. we do use both paypal express and paypal payflow pro. We want to make it easy for people to give us their money.

Hmm, never new about that. So just to be certain, deleting the expired tokens only is safe to do with no issues.. Just want to clarify so the world don't end.
