    Attribute Machine Cascade revisited

I'm trying to get a better understanding of the Attribute Machine Dependency Resolution: Cascade. I'm wanting to display a third set of attributes based on the selection of the second set of attributes. I would need to use the Select One feature. If one of the items is selected, I want it to display the third set of attributes. Is this what Cascade does? If so, how do I get it to work?

    Re: Attribute Machine Cascade revisited

    Hey Leslie -

The Cascade option would not do what you're looking for. If you need to show/hide a attribute depending on previous selections you would need to write your own JavaScript to do that.

The Cascade option just tells attribute machine, that if there is a scenario where the customer has no other options to select, how to break that dependency. With Attribute Machine when all options are unavailable or out of stock for a attribute it is greyed out and cannot be selected. Sometimes this can get the customer "stuck" where they have nothing left to select. The dependency resolutions settings define how to resolve this.
