how do I remove Credit Card Payment option?

I'm trying to remove Credit Card Payment with Simple Validation from Payment Settings. Miva says I can't because "Module 'Credit Card Payment with Simple Validation' is in use by one or more orders, and cannot be removed." There are no active orders (however, many of the orders in the "Manage Orders" module say they are "pending" when they have,in fact, been processed). Can anyone help?

Deactivate Credit Cart Payment with Simple Validation under the "Modules" section. This method will allow you to re-enable this method when needed, with the module retaining it's settings.

Normally the option to remove credit is under the payment setting section. I've founded and removed credit card from many sites like amazon, itunes, play services etc. I'm facing the same issue in miva, I think contacting the miva support team can help.
