I have a client that has many different products ( mostly non-perishable food items ). They come in many different weights: 8oz. - 5lbs. My client has not yet entered the product dimensions into Miva. They are currently using FedEx Advanced and the U.S.P.S. module from Miva.
These are the USPS methods they are using:
U.S.P.S. Express Mail®
U.S.P.S. Parcel Post®
U.S.P.S. Priority Mail®
U.S.P.S. Priority Mail® Flat Rate Box
Usually, Miva says that FedEx is the cheapest shipping. But, I think this is because they haven't chosen the large and small flat rate boxes. And, without product dimensions, I don't think it would matter because these shipping methods wouldn't be employed. But, I'm not sure about this.
I'd really love some recommendations on how to configure Miva to get the best shipping rates from USPS.
Thanks,
Yvonne
