toolkit Best Sellers

I have used the toolkit best sellers for many years. I accidently hit the reset stats on the admin and a lot of my pages using this code come up empty. I know Bill post an alternative solution or a work around on the forum many years ago but I seems not to be able to locate it via search. Can Bill or anyone know chime in on this?

Thanks for the quick response. I tried it and use '300' days in the parameter and it looks like it takes a long time to load. Does this method take a lot of resources?

Also, is it possible to use cxp but filter is by 'bestsellers' in the category? I basically wanted to display 3 to 5 products per category. Would this method also take a lot of resources since it loads all products into an array?

It takes a lot more resources than the quick check of the prod stats database (the one you erased).
