    Fatal error in lib/util.mvc @ [00000013:0000017e]: lib/util.mv: Line 760: Array index

I'm trying to set up 3 different price groups in my store, but whenever I type in the percentage I want taken off the retail price and click "update", the percentage goes back to zero.

Not only that, when I sign in as a customer in that price group and click on a category, I get the error: Fatal error in lib/util.mvc @ [00000013:0000017e]: lib/util.mv: Line 760: Array index must be positive integer

    What does it mean?

What are you entering for a percentage value? Are you checking the radio button next to Discount from Retail?

Hmmmm... Well I thought I was. I went back in to try it again and now it seems to be working. Now I seem to be having a problem with my shipping module. I'm getting the No valid shipping methods are available for your order. You will be contacted regarding shipping when your order is processed.

I have the UPS module selected and filled out. This was the reason I upgraded to MIVA 5 as I was having a problem with version 4.22 giving me the same error. Except 4.22 was giving me a fatal error.

I double checked and all the products I placed an order for have weights (which I know can sometimes cause problems if weights are missing).

In version 4.22 I could order one of each product just fine. The fatal error was triggered when I tried to order 6 or more of each item. Miva and my website host assumed it was a bug and had me upgrade... Did that but still seem to have trouble getting the shipping to work.

Any ideas what might be wrong?

Thanks so much for your help!

Are you entering a REAL address? What are your other settings in the UPS module?

Yes, I've entered a real address.

The source zip is correct. Have the ground and air surcharges set up as 3.75 and 12.50 respectively. No handling fee. On-Call pickup. Via UPS.com future day. No additional shipping charges are checked. All shipping methods are checked. I'm entering in a US address (not foreign), but in a different state than the source zip.

Since you said it does this when you enter many of one item, are these heavy items? The Miva UPS module is not very smart, it only knows how to compute one rate for one box, so if the box gets too heavy and goes over UPS' limit, the module can no longer compute the rate. It can't do multi-box, dimensional, heavyweight or other special services. To get around that, you'd want to use UPS Custom from http://www.vikingcoders.com

Ah Ha! I bet that's it! The total weight for the package would be 174 pounds. I just took a quick look at the UPS site and it looks like the weight limit is 150 pounds. Looks like I need that module.

Thanks so much for your help!
