    Can't Connect to Miva Admin

    I keep getting the following error when I try to login to my Miva Merchant Administration site:

    Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage

    I've been getting this error on my PC for the past 2 weeks

    This is on a PC that I've used for Miva several times in the past. It's running XP-Pro and IE7.

    I can log on using my laptop which has XP-Pro and IE6.

    They are both on the same wireless network.

    I updated the Java runtime engine on this PC - no effect.

    Any ideas?

    Are you accessing the site secure (https)? A link would be helpful but don't provide any password ;)

      Do you have IE7 set to only display secure pages if the SSL is an enhanced validation certificate? I'm guessing something in the IE7 security settings is the culprit.

        Thanks for the replies. I'm accessing it through web.com(I log onto web.com, then go to SiteBuilder, then click on Miva Merchant and it opens up my store admin). At that pont I'm at this site:

        http://stores.myregisteredsite.com/user1268676/mm5/admin.mvc

          SiteBuilder uses a HUGE amount of weird javascript, got anything related to that disabled in the security settings? Or can you not access that direct link either?

            I'll have to get with Miva as I don't know my login and password when I go direct.

              You can get around that, go in with the browser that does work and then click the Users menu along the left side of the admin and you can set the password to something new.

                OK - got into Miva through my laptop and found my login info. So now I can get into admin on my PC by going directly to the Miva site.

                Still not sure why it quit working in the first place, but, thanks to you guys I can at least use my PC again.
