Unable to authorize payment: Access is denied error?

Getting this error trying to run MIVA through Authorize.net and finding no references within the forum...had an issue before with commerce library setup, but that was resolved and now this error?
Unable to authorize payment: Access is denied.

    Any suggestions?

Have you changed your login information with them? Or in the security area of your authnet control panel, have you set a list of allowed IP addresses which can submit transactions to your account? If you do have IP's set, maybe your site's web server primary IP changed so it can no longer connect.

Login is unchanged and the primary IP has not changed...neither has IP for the domain

Are there any other restrictions on the authnet side? That error is coming back from them so communications to them are successful, they're just denying it for some reason.

I was hoping Authorize would have to be the one to answer. They just pointed the finger at MIVA on another issue, so now at least I know my MIVA store is communicating, but they are denying access for some reason...

OK, Authorize.net is pointing the finger back at MIVA wanting an error response code, of which I don't believe I am getting. I simply get:
Unable to authorize payment: Access is denied.
Where do I find this response code?

              That's not logged anywhere.

Any chance you have one side set to test mode and the other not?

                Advertinet,

I pulled a search for response codes within our knowledge base and found the following:

                Response Code: 3
                Response Sub-Code: 1
                Response Reason Code: 103

According to our knowledge base the above response codes are provided to AuthorizeNet when someone receives the following error at checkout: "Unable to authorize payment: This request cannot be accepted".

I also pulled a search for 'Access is denied' and found an article about checking the permissions on the commerce library.

                Issue:
Getting error 'Unable to authorize payment: Access is denied' when checking out with Authorize.Net as the configured payment gateway.

                Solution:
Check permissions on the commerce library and/or commerce directory.
*nix servers should have permissions set to 644 or 755
Windows servers should have Modify permissions set for the IUSR

                Thank you,

Re: Unable to authorize payment: Access is denied error?

Tech support has already been inside our machine and set the permissions (we are Windows by the way so 644 and 755 don't apply)
we get the error, but I'm not sure it has actually reached checkout. I'll probably end up contacting support again today and hope that they can help again or Authorize will return a call...
