Everybody who uses Froogle should have gotten an email from Froogle telling them the old FTP method of uploading data feed files has changed. You need to create an account at Google Base if you don't already have one.
For testing, I uploaded my previous Fast Feed data file without errors several times, to be sure the old format works. In fact, the new Google Base lets you have just about any columns (fields) you want. Note that the Fast Feed module has a fixed format. If you have my Template Data Feed (TDF), you can vary that format to add in many of the new attributes (fields) that can be included with the new Google Base uploads. You'll probably change the TDF format to take advantage of these new fields.
With an account, you go to https://www.google.com/base/welcome and
login. Then click the link for bulk upload files. Then upload the file, selecting the type as "Products". You can even specify the expiration date.
More info is at https://www.google.com/froogle/merchants/base.html
The upload gets into the system fairly quickly. Then it takes Froogle a day or two to replace your previous listings with the new ones. An example of my free Froogle listing is at
