Off Topic: Facebook Advertising / Exactseek PPC

    Hi there, Everyone:

    1) I wonder if anyone is successfully advertising on Facebook through their Pay Per Click advertising? If so, what sort of ROI are you getting?

It seems like the difference between google's adsense and facebook's PPC ads would be that facebook would have a smaller, more targeted market (since you can have your ads shown only to people who have filled out certain personal criteria in their profile).

    2) I also wonder if anyone is using the exactseek keyword advertising as well. I guess it is somewhat similar to google, but they have a cap on the amount that can be bid, and then they rotate which advertiser is listed first. This is supposed to keep costs down for advertisers.

Unfortunately it seems that their ads only appear on a bunch of little known search engines though...

    thanks in advance,

    mark

I haven't, but I will say that, as a Facebook user, I don't click on ads. I despise the way they allow ads to appear as "apps" and thus, now avoid all clicking.

I would say if you do advertise, I think it's more of a service to users if it's apparent it's an ad rather than an "app".

      Hey there, Pamela:

Thanks for you opinion! I am not familiar enough with Facebook to know how they present "apps," so I will have to look into it.

      thanks again,

      mark

BTW: Isn't it like 2:00 in the morning where you are now? Time for some ZZZsss
