Shipping Module to handle APO/FPO Military PO Boxes Address?

Hi,

Does anyone know a module or setup we can use to handle the APO/FPO shipping address? How do we setup this kind of address? Like, what should the State/City be?

We are now using the 'Price Table Based Shipping' to specify different carriers' shipping cost by the order amount.

We also use 'Sort Shipping Plus Free Shipping' by William Weiland with the following module location restriction:

ptbship|UPS Ground|+US48^
ptbship|DHL (Rush 2-4 days)|+US^
ptbship|USPS Priority Mail|+GU,PR,VI^
ptbship|Canada Post|+CA^

We are trying to setup APO/FPO shipping with USPS Priority Mail, but unfortunately, according to William, the module cannot do that...so, I'd really appreciate any suggestions, many thanks!

Go to States on your miva interface and add the following:
AA AA - Armed Forces
AE AE - Armed Forces
AP AP - Armed Forces
(you could also add places like Guam, Puerto Rico, Micronesia, etc., if you want)
You may need to relax your restrictions, but if William says it can't be done with that module, then...

We use the regular built in USPS module together with CBS supermod, it works just fine.

We also have the following note on OCST screen:

(For Military boxes select AA, AP, or AE under State/Province, even if your unit is currently stationed abroad. Leave country selected as United States
For Micronesia, Guam, Marshall Islands, Mariana Islands, Puerto Rico, and Palau make the appropriate selection under State/Province. Leave country selected as United States)

Note that APO, etc. are just addresses. Each soldier, sailor, etc. should already KNOW the address, and they are provided a specific APO address to use, which does use a city, state and zip. Few (but some do) mistakenly put their "foreign" address, and those that do may live off base, or may not, at the time, have access to an APO box.

Following what Red Flare said, you don't need anything special to do this.

How about Virgin Islands red Flare? Do you leave them in the Country?

You can make the military addresses as states as above. Then use the minimum or subtotal shipping by state zone (which works like the price table module) to limit it to just those 3 states. The only time its methods would show is if one of those states was selected.

VI is US, so I added it to states.

VG is not-US, so they have to select their country.

Where should we go to access this "minimum or subtotal shipping by state zone"? I don't seem to find it under the Miva Shipping Settings/Modules?
