Google has removed most of my pages.

I use to have more than 200 pages indexed in google for www.ojo-turco.com and now I have only 4!. I realized of this about 10 days ago. I included the rel canonical tag hoping it can help but I still have 4. We had more than 200 indexed pages in google since we launched www.ojo-turco.com 1 year ago. This is a spanish website; I dont know if I have to add some special tags when the language is not english.

Any help will be greatly appreciated!!

It is very strange: I went to IE, I wrote site:www.ojo-turco.com and I get 252 pages. I am very confused.

Thank you for the good news!

          Carina,

You should be using Google Webmaster Tools to find out what Google is really indexing on your site, using Google "Hacks" to do it is not reliable.

I agree if you are not already using the google tools you should be.

Not sure how you got the original results but it probably is because of the site being Spanish since you listed the results with "Results 1 - 4 of 4 English pages"

Actually, I am using Google Webmaster; however, I cant find where should I look to find how many pages Google have in their index; on previous versions of this tool I was able to see this but not now.

              thanks!!

                Carina,

You can do the search direct in Google Advanced search.

Find web pages that have...all these words: "ojo"
Search within a site or domain: ojo-turco.com
                Language: Spanish

My results when I just did this search: "259 Spanish pages from ojo-turco.com for ojo"

                  YEs, thank you!.
What I did not realize is that Google was saying that there were 4 ENGLISH pages. I've been working on this issue for over 10 days until today that I decided to make the question here.

                  Thanks to everyone!!

I am actually using Google Webmaster Tools; however, I can't find where I can see what Google is indexing...Previous versions of this tool had a report telling how many pages were indexed.

I would suggest you look into adding google analytics. It is free and provides an enormous amount of information but can be a bit difficult to set up.
