Upsell..cant do more than one item ?

Our upsell is working, but if I put 2 or 3 products we get an error.....I made sure we checked unlimited items etc....but we still get an error ??

any ideas ?

You didn't say what kind of error you are getting, so it's hard to say what's going on. Can you provide a URL to your store along with an example product we can add to the cart to qualify for an upsell item, so we can see the error in action?

Remember I only get this when I listed TWO or more items...with one item it works GREAT !

Can you give us a URL to your store (if it's not musictoyz.com) and a product code that has more than 1 upsell item assigned to it? I clicked on a few random products but I always got just 1 upsell product while going through checkout, so I couldn't duplicate this.

In your store admin, did you enable both the number of upsell items to display and max number of items allowed to add to basket to 'unlimited'? There are two separate settings you need to adjust...

Okay, I see that now. I verified that the upsell feature actually works properly in one of our development stores and it does work fine. This leads me to believe you may have a configuration issue on one or both of these upsell products, or you edited one of the screen templates. Start with the configuration first as that's the simple and obvious one - make sure that the upsell product display is set to "always" and you don't have a required product assigned first, to rule out any conflicting messages. Try checking out again and see if the error goes away.

I put it back with just one product...if you tried it now it works perfect...

I did more research there are two different modules on for upsale (single item) and one for upsell multi items. something is not working correctly in that mode....

Hmmm, I see only one (cmp-mmui-uslmltplattr - MMUI Upsell Multiple Product Attributes). Are you using any alternate 3rd party upsell modules in your store??

no just good old miva......its got to be a config problem...but everything in the upsell section is fine....and the upsell module is installed...I dont know what the problem is ??

I'm having this problem too, on multiple upsells only. Whether I have Miva set to 2 or 3 or unlimited, If I add any quantity of upsold products to the cart, I get a fatal error. The upsell template is completely unmodified. I don't have any 3rd-party upsell modules installed. I'm just using the default Miva upsell feature. Is this an acknowledged bug? The error message is below. Thanks.

yes its a bug, it works if you have one upsell but multi's crap out with the same error here....

no one seems willing to fix it ??

And I cant find a third party plug in for Miva 5 upsell ??

Not to steal a thread, but I can't seem to get mine to work even w/ just one upsell. I am trying to offer one item to every customer at a fixed discount. I should get shown this product after entering my customer information, but I never see the screen. Is there more than one screen of settings to change?

What is the deal with OUSM - Multiple Upsells???

What is the deal with the OUSM page for multiple upsells? Has this issue been fixed/resolved?? Other users have already posted the same Fatal Error received when there are multiple upsell products, and I am now experiencing the same error while testing our site. This definitely appears to be a bug and I'm amazed that Miva, a public company with a an ages-old product, hasn't fixed this yet!! OUSM is one of their standard pages, so why doesn't it work?

BTW...the fatal error appears as well with the "original", untouched, version of the page.

OUS1, the page for one upsell product, seems to work; but, not multiple upsell products? This is unacceptable. And, I can't even instruct my client not to use multiple upsell products, because even if they set up individual upsell products, the OUSM page will appear if the shopping customer happens to select more than one product that each have an individual upsell attached.

For example, we set up Product A and Product F each with an upsell product/special. If a customer happens to place both these products in their basket and checkout, then it won't work...they'll be sent to the OUSM page and get the Fatal Error!

So, what do I do? Do I advise my client not to use Upsell products at all??? Upselling products is BASIC for an online store. Can someone please tell me what everyone else using Miva is doing regarding upsell products? If everyone is experiencing this problem then the question is how long will it take for Miva to fix this??
