Hi, I created a test account (customer) with an international address, and the "State/Province" dropdown and "Other State/Province" text fields are not acting the way I want them to. For example, right now the customer will enter their international address and it works fine up to the field "City", but then, the international customer will select "Outside US" from the "State/Province" dropdown. Even though "Other State/Province" text field is not required, it behaves as if it is. Naturally, the international customer will go from entering their foreign city to entering their country and skip over "Other State/Province". How can I make the "Other State/Province" field not be required? Thank you, --R

What you might do is provide detailed directions for international customers.
One thing I noticed that if a customer leaves other state/provice field blank and hits save, the page reloads with required fields in red. The country field also defaults back to the United States. You could provide instructions to update it to the correct country if an error is encountered, but at least something has to be entered into "other state/province" field.
Remember: "If its not a bug, then its a feature."

Thanks Alex, adding more instructions is probably the way to go. I like that, if its not a bug, then its a feature, I'll have to put that on my website ;) Thanks for taking the time to respond --RHarvest Moon Boutique - Organic Baby Products
