    Sam's Club Merchant Processing

    Does anyone have experience with using Sam's Club Merchant Processing from Miva Merchant 5?

    We are considering switching to them and would apprectiate any feedback.

    We currently use Linkpoint and Card Services International. Sam's Club told me that they can use Linkpoint, so I am thinking it will be an easy switch over to Sam's Club Merchant Processing.

    We use them for our cardmember present swipe.
    I forget who it is ultimately through, First Data maybe, rates are really good.
    The cost of the equip spread over 2 or 3 years was ridiculous when you add it up, but overall we needed it all like grabbing a loaf of bread at the store and bing bang boom they did it all up with no hassle. We got their IP network capable system with addition MICR reader for checks.
    I don't know what they have for merchant, but I think you would still use something like verisign for gateway unless they actually have their own and merchant has payment mod for it.
    We still use Verisign and Nova for online that also works great with very good rates via Costco membership deal.

      Verisign/PayFlow Pro works great *unless* you have a problem. Their CS is now handled by PayPal and it SUCKS. Email support has a 3wk+ response time, and their CS says that 5+ biz days for non-phone support is normal. I asked to whom I would make a complaint about the response time, and was told by 3 different people that there is no supervisor/manager available to customers, no "complaint department", and no escalation path available. They did offer to log my comments in *my* file, but conceded that no one will read my file except maybe the next CS rep I call... I am very thankful it was over a small amount of money. Had it been a large amount, I would have just been left out in the cold w/o my funds.

      I *was* very happy with Verisign up to the PayPal acquisition. I'm now shopping for a new gateway and will change at the end of this term. If you are not already using Verisign, I seriously suggest you reconsider before signing up.
