Fatal Error: Record not found: MER-TUI-DTB-00133

Was trying to fix a problem with the Google Checkout button not appearing, and the Settings Update issueing a "feild Not Found" error. So, went to uninstall, but Merchant kept complaining that the item was used in a template (it was not). Went to undo the check for installed items option, and the following appeared in the Store Settings tab (actually appears in all Store tabs:

    Hi Bruce,

We'd need to get in and take a look. Can you send me a PM with access, or email [email protected] to open a ticket?

    Thanks.

The problem seems to be related to having mulitple tabs of a page open, and having content within those tabs marked as being changed. These can be the same page (i.e., BASK) or different tabs that share a global template such as the Head/CSS tab.

When you modify an item, say Head/CSS tab on the BASK page, then modify it on another tab, say the OCST page, and THEN hit update, you can get this message.

I have also seen it happen randomly in other circumstances. The fix is to copy your changes locally, then close the page (or pages) reopen and repaste the changes and hit update.

How would you have multiple tabs of a page open? More than one person in the admin at the same time? Multiple browsers?

In this instance (and it does sort of make sense with what you're saying) - if you click the Store Name link, all the tabs are red and the error message is right below the tabs.

...easy, from the User Interface Page, click "open in new tab" on any edit button...<g>

and "oh" that is not the same message as I was taking about...that sounds like corruption in one of the template fields. You could try this: note which template records are in play and look through the template database. Not sure what you would be looking for though...there was a SQL Database Tool i used once (try google) which will find corruption in databases, you could try that.
